Electrolyte & Collagen Gummy Bears 🧸

Store-bought gummy bears are tempting, but they’re loaded with sugar, artificial flavors, and questionable ingredients. By making your own gummies at home, you’re in total control of what goes into them. You can create snacks that not only taste amazing but also provide additional health benefits.

These gummies are:

  • Hydrating thanks to the electrolyte powder. Ideal for post-workout recovery or a quick energy boost.

  • Supportive for Collagen Production, thanks to grass-fed beef gelatin, which promotes strong hair, skin elasticity, and flexible joints.

  • All-Natural, without any hidden sugars, preservatives, or artificial colors.

Ingredients

Here’s what you need to get started. Make sure to use quality ingredients to get the best flavor and health benefits.

  • 4 scoops electrolyte powder (I personally love Paleovalley’s watermelon flavor – it’s fresh, fruity, and perfect for gummies!)

  • 5 tablespoons grass-fed beef gelatin (Provides the texture & collagen goodness.)

  • 1/4 cup room-temperature water

  • 2 cups boiling water

Recipe

1. Whisk The Dry Ingredients

Grab a large bowl and combine the grass-fed gelatin with the electrolyte powder. It’s good to do this step first so everything mixes evenly without clumps.

2. Add Room Temp Water

Next, pour in 1/4 cup of room-temperature water. Whip the mixture together so it becomes thick and well-combined. It’s normal for it to start looking gelatinous—this means it’s forming the perfect gummy base.

3. Pour in Boiling Water

Add the 2 cups of boiling water to the mixture. Whip it again until everything is melted and you’re left with a smooth, liquid consistency.

4. Fill Your Molds

Grab gummy bear molds (or any silicone molds you have on hand). Pour the mixture into each mold, filling them to the top. If you don’t have molds, you can also pour the mixture into a small baking dish and cut it into squares once chilled.

5. Chill & Set

Pop the molds into the fridge and allow them to set for 2–3 hours. Once firm, gently remove your gummy bears from the molds.

Done!—your own batch of electrolyte and collagen gummies! 🧸

Tips for Perfect Gummies 🧸

  • Choose High-Quality Ingredients – Using a high-quality electrolyte powder and grass-fed beef gelatin makes all the difference in taste and benefits.

  • Add Natural Sweeteners – If you like your gummies a bit sweeter, add a teaspoon of honey or maple syrup when mixing the gelatin and electrolyte powder.

  • Experiment with Flavors – Try different flavors of electrolyte powder to find your favorite gummy combination!
