Banana 🍌 Berry 🍓 Collagen Protein Smoothie
If you're like me and not exactly a "protein shake" kind of girl but love a good smoothie, then this is for you! I mean, who can resist a refreshing, creamy smoothie packed with all the good stuff your skin, hair, and nails will thank you for? And the bonus? It'll keep you full and satisfied, too—perfect for those busy spring and summer days. 🌞
Listen, I’m all about simplicity. I love the Erewhon smoothie craze as much as the next girl. They’re amazing (and I spent A LOT of money on these over the years), but let's be real—those long ingredient lists? A little overwhelming. Who has all of those superfoods on hand all the time? Not me. Plus, remembering to add a million things every time just sounds… exhausting.
That’s why I’ve created my own version that's just as good (if not better) and WAY less complicated.
This is my absolute favorite smoothie right now! It’s creamy, fruity, and loaded with skin-loving ingredients. Oh, and it’s ridiculously easy to make. Here’s what you’ll need:
Ingredients:
1 organic banana 🍌
4-5 organic frozen strawberries 🍓
1/2 cup organic frozen blueberries 🫐
1 scoop Taylor Dukes Strawberries and Cream Bone Broth Protein - code: JAMIEANNE
1 scoop Paleovalley Vanilla Bone Broth Protein - code: JAMIE
1 scoop Beef Collagen Peptides - code: JAMIE50546
1 tbsp Pomegranate Powder (optional)
1 cup organic coconut milk (or raw milk, but IMO coconut milk makes this so much creamier. And if you're a nut milk person, that works too—but trust me, try coconut for this one!)
I ran out of frozen blueberries so this is one with just strawberries and banana - just as good!
Instructions:
Add the banana, strawberries, blueberries, and (optional) pomegranate powder into a blender.
Toss in the bone broth protein powders and collagen peptides.
Pour in a splash of organic coconut milk—adjust the amount depending on how creamy or thick you like your smoothie.
Blend until smooth and creamy.
Pour into your favorite glass and enjoy!
Equipment I love for smoothies is the Vitamix with the stainless steel container
Adding collagen and bone broth protein gives it a major boost of vitamins and nutrients that support your skin, hair, and nails. (Collagen is basically a girl's best friend) Plus, the natural sweetness of the fruit means you don’t need to add any extra sugar or sweeteners.
It’s super simple, super fresh, and so yummy. Plus, you can tweak the ingredients depending on what you’ve got at home. No pomegranate powder? No biggie, just leave it out! Only got almond milk? Use it! The beauty of these smoothies is that they’re versatile and forgiving.
Let me know your smoothie versions in the comments!
xo,
Jamie
